Proceeds from the evening will go to help Souleiada build a school in the inner mountains of Sichuan province.

We’d like to thank everyone that has attended our BBQ in Houhai this past Saturday. Due in no small part to everyone’s help, encouragement and consumption, we have managed to exceed our financial expectations:

We have been busy planning our next fundraising events which will be announced soon. In the meantime, The Altruistic Alcoholics have managed to raise a decent amount of money that has already been donated to Charity. Here are the bank receipts for the transactions:

Get your gaming thumbs ready boys and girls, because here comes the first AltA PlayStation 2 Gaming Tournament!!!!
Scheduled by the good people at AltA for May 1st, the competition will cover three genres, namely Fighting, Racing and FPS (first person shooting).
The games we have lined up are; Tekken 5, Burnout Revenge and Timesplitters: Future Perfect.
The cost of participation is 35 for 1 category, 50 for 2, and 60 to enter all 3. OR pay 100 to enter all 3 categories, and get an increasingly fashionable AltA T-shirt as well!!
Prizes will be given to the winner of each category, and so no one is left out, a special prize will be awarded to the most spectacular loser!!
Drinking, frivolity and action are guaranteed!
5.19 have also given us some exceedingly good deals on drinks, thus;

we spent 3668 rmb for t-shirts and flyers, material for the party
we recolted 7511 rmb at the party
we issued 37 club football membership cards,
we must give them back 37×22rmb = 814 rmb
(out of this money 37×19 rmb (703 rmb) will be given to charities like red cross, unicef and beijing huiling)
7500 rmb were donated to xinxing baoji today
in total, 8200 rmb will be donated for charities!!!
ALSO: if u ve any comments/ideas/suggestions to improve the organization of our next party, pls write us back
